What Is The Pelvic Floor?
The pelvic floor muscles are located between your legs, and run from your pubic bone at the front to the base of your spine at the back. They are shaped like a sling and hold your pelvic organs in place. They are a crucial part in overall biomechanics and dysfunction in the pelvic floor can be the root cause of back pain, hip problems, incontinence, and a myriad of other problems. Many of us are not clear on what healthy pelvic floor function feels and looks like, if you are curious and think you might benefit from work in these muscles contact Lea below.
